this is a beautiful shirt that i would recommend to anyone. haven't washed it yet and i do dread that because there is usually shrinkage in the arms at least. will have to see how that goes.

I love these shirts
October 13, 2016

From: Toronto, Canada Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I destroy clothing. I don't work in construction or anything else that would cause me to destroy clothing i'm just a bit outdoorsy and don't mind getting dirty. Most of my shirts have needed to be replaced in about 3-4 months otherwise they make me look a little homeless. That 3-4 month cycle was getting annoying and expensive so I turned to Carhartt clothing which Dungarees sells a slightly better prices than other places I've found (plus the website is easier to search through and compare). I've only had my oakman's for 2 weeks so it is a little early to say for certain but these seem to be sturdy enough to last a few seasons or years and they look and fit great.

Great Shirt but They Fluxuate
October 3, 2016

From: NE USA Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I literally have 20+ of these shirts. Every year I buy a couple/few new ones ... especially when I can get other colors (red/black/rust etc) it seems that the different colors are rarely available. These are great, heavy, durable shirts (I often wear as a shirt-jacket) that wear like iron until suddenly after much wear they start to have problems and then it seems they almost disintegrate. For me this is usually 8+ years of solid abuse (logging/trucking/land management) ... so its not like it owes me anything. I get longer use by trimming off the sleeves and ... The one thing that has been a bit of a problem over the years is the "fit" changes (fluxuates) almost every year as they make them in different places. I buy the XL Tall although I'm not exactly tall because I like the longer tails but sometimes the XL is almost snug and I'm not really an XL I don't think (Dress shirt, 17 neck x 36 arm). I have a couple from 2 years ago that are almost tight. It would be a very good idea if Carhartt got on top of this sizing fluxuation ...

What a disappointment
September 21, 2016

From: Bismarck, ND Age: 65+ Gender: Female
My husband has been wearing these shirts for years. I just ordered two new ones and the quality is very poor in comparison to the original shirts. The fabric seems cheap and the pleat at the yolk, which gives more room for broad shouldered men, has been deleted. Think you need to find somewhere other than Nicaragua to have your product made!! I will not be ordering again.,

Durable wash after wash! Nice heavy weight!
September 17, 2016

From: Pattersonville, NY Age: 45-54 Gender: Female
I've purchased over a dozen of these shirts through the years for my husband and he absolutely loves them! They are nice and heavy weight and thicken some with washing. The oldest ones (have had for about 5 years) have never lost a button nor ever had a seam give out either. Colors do fade after a couple of years but they still are durable. Won't buy my man any other! Well worth the price!

I like these shirts
August 17, 2016

From: Nashville, TN Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
I have one in each color. Wore them last winter and I liked them. Purchased the new color this summer and I imagine it will work just as well as the others. So far so good. I have tried many different brands over the years, these are the best.
