Warm but not heavy
January 8, 2016

From: Ohio Age: Over 65 Gender: Female
I tried these sox last year and couldn't believe that a light weight wool sock could be so comfortable and at the same time warm. They work in several types of shoes. The cushioned sole is great for people with tender feet and/or foot problems.

New Materials are Poor Quality
May 3, 2015

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I used to love these socks. Wore them for years and years without any holes. They were always so comfortable and stayed up no matter how many times I took my shoes on and off during the day. I recently purchased 9 additional pairs of socks, 4 of this style and the others assorted styles, and am so disappointed. Within three weeks, I had holes in EVERY SINGLE one of the four Ultimate Work Socks I purchased. None of the socks stay up like the old ones did. I don't know what happened, but the quality is nothing like it used to be. I am very disappointed and would not recommend these to anyone until they can get the quality back to the way it used to be.

A true crew sock
January 9, 2014

From: north carolina Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
These are not as heavy as most carhartt socks and they are a true crew sock by hitting on the calf where a crew sock should hit

Women's Socks
January 4, 2014

From: NY Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I bought these for my wife for Christmas. Wow, nothings says love like socks. She loves these socks, they are good in winter boots, as that is all she has worn in upstate NY. Feet are comfortable and warm. These are the first socks that were made for women who work, not those cute pom pom sosks. Excuse me, but made for women in the same way mens work socks are made. It is about time.

Very dissappointing
February 24, 2012

From: SD Age: Over 65 Gender: Female
I had purchased Carhartt work socks previously from you a couple years ago. The quality was excellent. They had a lot of elasticity, so they gave good support for the foot and ankle. The toes were sewed so they were flat and they fit snuggly. The quality of the new ones I got is not at all the same. They look the same in the ad. The toe is way to wide and has a big ridge where they are sewn. They do not have anywhere near as much stretch and provide very little support. I kept them, but am not sure why because I continue to wear the old ones and only wear the new ones when I don't have a clean pair of the old ones. Very dissappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sharon

These socks are great for winter. Probably would be best to wear in boots. I use them for work boots on the farm.

Best Socks Ever
January 7, 2012

From: Fort Walton Beach, FL Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I love these socks. I am outside in the cold which I know Florida shouldn't get that cold but I am on the coast and yes it gets pretty cold and these socks totally keep my feet warm. When I was in the military I bought battery operated socks to heat my feet. I thought that since I have left the military then got a job that is field work that I would have to do something drastic to keep my feet warm.LOL Well no I didn't I just had to come here and buy these socks and love them
