Awesome product Was looking for a heavy weather coat for winter. Love the many pockets, the drawstring that can make it tighter, the optional snap on hood. Its durable and definitely keeps the wind out. Love the longer length. Would recommend. March 4, 2012
Just what I needed I love this jacket just as I knew I would!! It is beyond warm and just perfect for working outside with the horses in the bitter cold and wind up in the high desert in California. I also took this jacket with me to Chicago and it kept me plenty warm. Great investment no regrets what so ever. Only once downside.. I have sensitive skin and the collar rubs my neck a lil and irritates it but that is all. :) February 27, 2012
Best coat ever! This coat is one of the nicest (casual) coats I have owned. I purchased it in the light olive green in a size small. I am 5' 1" and 115 lbs. This size is perfect for me. There is enough room to move around and layer, but also looks great - the color is very flattering. The construction and fit of the coat are very high quality. I have been wearing it in temperatures just below freezing and have been totally comfortable. I think it will work well in a range of temps. Very versatile! Carhartt said this coat was discontinued. Please bring it back! February 22, 2012
best chore jacket yet! love the 2 way zipper - fit is perfect! January 4, 2012
My carhartt artic wear I have this coat and it is the most versitale and warm coat I have! Perfect for horseback riding or working on a farm, love the two way zipper feature also great for more freedom during movement. June 30, 2011
Almost Perfect! This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something to keep me warm around the campfire on cold spring nights in Banff National Park. I have wide hips and usually wear a size 16, and ordered the 2XL to make sure I oculd layer up underneath. The sizing is exactly as shown in the sizing guide and I have lots of room around the hips! My only criticism would be that the shoulders are a little too wide for me. June 30, 2011
Finally, I'm Warm Enough! This coat is so toasty warm ~ it's fantastic! I had purchased 2 different coats (including down) from 2 other on line companies & not having much luck, when I "googled" - "what are the warmest coats" - and Carhartt was 1 of 2 answers! So, I thought I had nothing to lose, went on the site & ordered the warmest women's coat I could find. I'm thrilled! I have many auto immune diseases including Reynaud's and I'm always so cold ~ so I'm very happy to have found this coat and this co.! Plus the size of the zipper is a nice bonus ~ I have a lot of pain in my hands & fingers and the size of the zipper makes it much easier to maneuver. Next I'm going to order some flannel lined jeans! Thanks Carhartt, looking forward to a long friendship! (a word of caution to anyone who buys any of these coats w/ velcro. When you wash them and then put them in the dryer you may want to zip up the coat & attach the velcro because my sleeves wrist lining got attached to the velcro in the dryer & I had to peel them off the velcro. It damaged them a bit - so just be careful) Enjoy! January 13, 2011
Great Outdoor Coat This coat is heavy duty and will stand up to very cold tempertures. It is a little heavy weight wise but does keep you very warm. Not recommended for use in average cold. I think it would be too warm and you can't really layer under this coat. The artic lining is excellent. January 3, 2011
