LARGE Sizing/Fit; Had to exchange two sizes down I often have trouble with Carhartt's sizing and fit for women's wear. Per the other reviewer and Carhartt comment, I ordered a Medium when I usually wear a 4-6 Small (34B, very broad shoulders for a gal of my stature, boyish figure) and it was at least two sizes too big for me and was exchanged for an XS. It is a beautiful, durable, high quality and comfortable shirt that is typical of the Carhartt brand. It has seaming that is very flattering and makes me appear as though I have curves where I actually don't. Nice heavy denim that's incredibly soft... this shirt will be a go-to this fall and winter. I only wish that Carhartt would standardize their sizing for us gals. October 15, 2012
Great Quality, Small Sizing I own several of the superb but discontinued Work Wash Twill Shirt (WS002), so I figured the fit of this shirt would be comparable. I wear an XS in the twill shirt, which fits beautifully - it's just the right length, and accentuates a female "hourglass" shape while remaining rugged and durable. I'd probably buy more if they weren't discontinued. The fit on this item was so off for me, though, that I had to return my initial XS for a S, and, even then, I felt like I was wearing a juniors- or girls-sized item. I'm 5'4", and the length was too short even on me. The cut wouldn't have been flattering, unfortunately, had I elected to exchange once again for an M. The quality, of course, is excellent. I hope more denim shirts are in the works; this one just wasn't working for me. June 22, 2011
