Mother bought me this for Christmas, I've packed my lunch in it for a few days now and I love this product! Very sturdy and will definitely last a very long time!

My wife jut got me this lunch pale for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Brings me back to my high school and college football days of my coaches preaching to grab you hard hats and lunch pales and go to work. Well now that's exactly what I do Monday - Friday. The one question I have is what size thermos can I fit in the top section of the lunchbox. Thanks in advance

Rated 5 out of 5 by randywolf244 i dropped a 40 pound piece of cast iron on it
i work in a machine shop. which is a rough environment to say the least. on a daily basis i encounter, various types of chemicals, such as cutting oil, coolant, and every weight of hydraulic oil known to man. thats not even counting the metal shavings that cover just about everything in the shop. after carrying this thing for almost two years. its somehow managed to walk away with very few scratches and amazingly the paint isn't peeling like most would. im not the type to leave my lunch in the break room either because one of the benefits of my job is long cycle times and down time so naturally i sleep on lunch and eat on the floor. so this thing is right next to me through the day so its not like its being treated kindly. aside from that i still get daily compliments on it. i mean dude, it's cool. i also know the top is made to house the food jar but i dont need the food jar. however in the top i carry my one hand vacuum mug, then a cup of ramen. a bag of chips, a few energy bars, a couple of redbulls, a fork, spoon, knife. maybe a can of soup, a swiss army knife. occasionally some leftovers, and an ice pack all in it and have room to spare. the new style of lunch box may have vacuum technology that keeps your food cold forever without an ice pack, but i can drop a 40 pound piece of cast iron on mine so HA! I THINK I'LL KEEP MINE

Realmente ela é muito linda! mesmo com a desvantagem de não ser térmica, ela não peca em estilo e resistência. Foi uma das minhas melhores compras da Stanley!!

When I was a boy of ten, I bought my father a Stanley coffee thermos for Xmas. He was always breaking his coffee thermos as he was a farmer, banging them around. none of them lasted long. So that is why I bought him a Stanley. A couple of years later, it fell off the tractor and he ran over it. It did manage to put a bit of a dent in the side of it, kinda gave the thing a somewhat rugged appearance. I am now 60 years old,Dad is long gone, but I just finished drinking a cup o joe out of that old beat up thermos. Still keeps the coffee hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nando Great box for work but...
I've had this lunch box for almost a year. I'd like to think I take pretty good care of it but It's developed some rust in places where the paint has chipped off. Nothing a new paint job won't fix. What kind of paint should I use? I was thinking spray paint but what would be safe for food? I really like this lunch box, I use it for work and get lots of compliments.

One of the most durable lunch boxes for any construction setting whether it's for cutting timber or operating heavy equipment.
Let's see the dog chew through this one.
