Early 90's one Xmas one of my friend gave me different brand because she knew i drink a lot of tea the temp. went down after 4.5 hour's i went back to my old Stanley thermos , Thank you Stanley for the best product ever . I did recommend it to many of my co worker's and they are happy with the result's July 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by i dropped a 40 pound piece of cast iron on it i work in a machine shop. which is a rough environment to say the least. on a daily basis i encounter, various types of chemicals, such as cutting oil, coolant, and every weight of hydraulic oil known to man. thats not even counting the metal shavings that cover just about everything in the shop. after carrying this thing for almost two years. its somehow managed to walk away with very few scratches and amazingly the paint isn't peeling like most would. im not the type to leave my lunch in the break room either because one of the benefits of my job is long cycle times and down time so naturally i sleep on lunch and eat on the floor. so this thing is right next to me through the day so its not like its being treated kindly. aside from that i still get daily compliments on it. i mean dude, it's cool. i also know the top is made to house the food jar but i dont need the food jar. however in the top i carry my one hand vacuum mug, then a cup of ramen. a bag of chips, a few energy bars, a couple of redbulls, a fork, spoon, knife. maybe a can of soup, a swiss army knife. occasionally some leftovers, and an ice pack all in it and have room to spare. the new style of lunch box may have vacuum technology that keeps your food cold forever without an ice pack, but i can drop a 40 pound piece of cast iron on mine so HA! I THINK I'LL KEEP MINE June 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Faz meus dias mais interessantes e animados Realmente ela é muito linda! mesmo com a desvantagem de não ser térmica, ela não peca em estilo e resistência. Foi uma das minhas melhores compras da Stanley!! June 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Durability says it When I was a boy of ten, I bought my father a Stanley coffee thermos for Xmas. He was always breaking his coffee thermos as he was a farmer, banging them around. none of them lasted long. So that is why I bought him a Stanley. A couple of years later, it fell off the tractor and he ran over it. It did manage to put a bit of a dent in the side of it, kinda gave the thing a somewhat rugged appearance. I am now 60 years old,Dad is long gone, but I just finished drinking a cup o joe out of that old beat up thermos. Still keeps the coffee hot. June 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great box for work but... I've had this lunch box for almost a year. I'd like to think I take pretty good care of it but It's developed some rust in places where the paint has chipped off. Nothing a new paint job won't fix. What kind of paint should I use? I was thinking spray paint but what would be safe for food? I really like this lunch box, I use it for work and get lots of compliments. May 8, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best darn lunchbox I've ever owned! Good size, like the blue color. this thing is pretty close to being indestructible too. I don't think it can be beat. March 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The finest ever made Ok. I'm not a nut, but- I had to live on s boat once for a year... No utilities, and also work related had to live in a big truck for a few months as well. I RELY ON STANLEY. It gets real cold.... And real hot when you live that way. I have owned more Stanley products than I can remember. Two? Three dozen? I carry ice tea, or coffee- drive up to 36 hours non stop ( I'm not a driver by profession so I'm not subject to mandatory rest periods ). I often carry multiple thermoses and I own two of these lunch boxes. I have had original dome tops from the 60's and 50's, and they weren't built this well. The hinges are super strong and the steel super thick. You can't break this. I like it because it's strong enough to hold lunch for two or. Three days? And I keep a 24 oz food jar in the lid. I ate out of it from little rock to sanfrancisco non stop. 1981 miles. I carry tools in the other box, and the back up bottle.everyone that sees it wants one, so it has a cool retro look. But, before Stanley started making them I got another brand and the hinges were not near s strong and it would bust open. This one never had, I suspect I have 30 pounds in it with my tools and coffee. It's never failed . I may get a third. February 23, 2016
